•     Medical staff from public health institutions (min. 50 professionals);

•     Public health institutions and local health authorities in the cross-border area, including health centres, clinical centres and hospitals in the target region;

•     Public Health Institution Special Hospital for Lung Diseases “Dr Jovan Bulajić” Brezovik, covering the whole of Montenegro;

•     Community members and CSOs working with women, youth, marginalised and vulnerable groups;

•     Approximately 10 % of the population of the cross-border region reached through public awareness campaigns and covered by project activities (around 67,000 people)

SO 2: Establish and pilot a coordinated cross-border approach for preventive examinations and early identification of non-communicable disease risks, supported by jointly developed operational protocols and formalised cooperation between health institutions, while increasing knowledge and awareness on prevention and healthy lifestyles among target groups, particularly marginalised and vulnerable populations.

2.1. Coordinated cross-border campaign of preventive NCD screenings implemented, ensuring inclusion and outreach to vulnerable and marginalised groups.

2.2. Increased awareness and improved knowledge of the population on NCD prevention, early detection and healthy lifestyles, particularly among marginalised and vulnerable groups.

2.3. Enhanced cross-border cooperation and policy dialogue in the field of health in the Serbia–Montenegro cross-border area.

2.2.2 Cross-border Youth Camp on Healthy Lifestyles for young people from the cross-border area – training of trainers

2.2.3 Implementation of a comprehensive awareness and information campaign supporting preventive examinations and healthy lifestyles, including:

•     educational lectures and workshops on NCD prevention

•     media campaign and social media promotion

•     community info days

•     TV and radio spots

•     publications, promotional and digital materials

•     survey on knowledge and attitudes related to NCD

•     development of a mobile application/digital platform to support information and engagement

2.3.1 Creation of a Cross-border Health Task Force

2.3.2 Cross-border Conference on Health Improvement involving health professionals, institutions, civil society organisations and public authorities from both countries

2.3.3 Development of cross-border Recommendations for strengthening integrated NCD prevention, based on collected data, expert input and good practices

2.3.4 Organisation of workshops with key stakeholders on improving inclusion and access of marginalised and vulnerable groups to health services
