A two-day workshop on project implementation for beneficiaries of grant contracts under the First Call for Proposals of the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Serbia–Montenegro was held on 22–23 October 2026 at the National Bank of Serbia in Belgrade.

The workshop brought together more than 50 participants, including representatives of grant beneficiary organisations, the Ministry of Finance, Central Financing and Contracting Unit (CFCU) of the Republic of Serbia, the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS), as well as other representatives of the Programme structures.

The workshop was delivered by representatives of the CFCU and the JTS, who provided guidance on the key requirements, rules and procedures for the effective implementation of projects financed under the Programme.

The main topics included project management, grant contract amendments, monitoring and reporting, communication and visibility, financial management, and procurement procedures. Participants also discussed practical case studies and issues related to irregularities.

The workshop aimed to strengthen beneficiaries’ understanding of contractual obligations and Programme requirements, while providing practical guidance to support the smooth, transparent and compliant implementation of their projects.

By bringing beneficiaries and Programme structures together, the workshop also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, address practical challenges and reinforce cooperation throughout project implementation.
