The Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) of the Cross-border Programme Serbia – Montenegro with the support of the Programme’s Operating Structures organized the third Partner Search Forum in Pljevlja, on April 20, 2011 as a part of preparatory activities for the upcoming 2nd Call for Proposals within the IPA Cross-border Programme Serbia – Montenegro. At the beginning, the Vice President of the Municipality of Pljevlja, event’s host-town, Avdo Ajanović addressed the participants of the Forum, followed by speaches of the Operating Structures’ Programme Coordinators – Tijana Ljiljanić from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro and Darko Čukuranović from Serbian Government’s European Integration Office. The event was hosted by Mithat Bahović, Task Manager at the JTS. During the plenary session, the participants of the Forum were presented the Cross-border Programme Serbia – Montenegro by Denis Slatina – Head of Joint Technical Secretariat and Goran Prebiračević – Task Manager at the JTS/Antenna
The Forum gathered about 145 participants from two neighboring countries. The participants had an opportunity to present their institution/organization and their project ideas to other participants within three focus groups: economic development, social development and environmental protection. The participants expressed a positive attitude towards this kind of establishing partnerships between potential applicants.
