The Info Session and Partner Search Forum, marking the launch of the 1st Call for Proposals within the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Serbia-Montenegro  2021-2027, was held at Hotel Berane in Berane, on 9 December 2025. The event gathered around 70 participants, including representatives from institutions, organizations, and potential project applicants.

A total of EUR 8.4 million in pre-accession support has been provided for the implementation of cross-border cooperation projects between Serbia and Montenegro for the period 2021–2027, through the Programme financed by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA III).

The event was opened by Nada Pejović, Head of the Directorate for Bilateral Cross-Border Programmes at the Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro, who emphasized the importance of regional cooperation and joint development.

The contracting authority, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia, presented the Guidelines for Grant Applicants and the Application Package, providing detailed instructions on the application process.

In the second part of the event, a Partner Search Forum was held, where participants actively exchanged ideas and initiatives for future joint projects.

For the First Call, EUR 5.4 million in grant funding has been allocated. The minimum grant amount per project is EUR 180,000 and the maximum EUR 600,000, while beneficiaries are required to provide at least 15% co-financing from their own sources. The deadline for submitting the Concept Note is 26 January 2026.
