The training was organised in Gusinje, within project “Brining in sustainable waste management (BINS)” in the period 9-10 October 2019, financed by the European Union as part of the IPA CBC Programme Serbia-Montenegro 2014-2020.
Main objectives of the training were to improve communication skills of staff of Municipality of Gusinje and Public Utility “Vrela”, Sjenica, strengthen their knowledge about topics related communication and prepare them for implementation of public awareness activities.
Training objectives:
- Strengthening capacities and improvement of communicational skills and creation of promotional and communicational events;
- Introduce participants with instruments and techniques used in external communication and manner of their use, with special emphasis on relations with media and management of various types of events
- Public appearance techniques.
Training was attended by 16 participants, representatives of Municipalities Gusinje and Sjenica. The participants were very keen to discuss the topics, they were very interested to learn more about development of communication skills. The methodology that has been used is classic lectures using power point presentations, exercise in group work and discussions. At the end, all participants conducted evaluation of the training through pre-prepared questionnaire.
