Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia, as candidate countries for the membership in the European Union (EU) have access to the EU funds through Instrument for Pre – accession Assistance (IPA). This instrument established legal basis for providing financial assistance to candidate and potential candidate countries in their efforts to strengthen political, economics and institutional reforms, with the final aim of obtaining EU membership status.
Cross – border Programme Serbia – Montenegro is financed within the Component II of the IPA, and is aimed at bringing together the people, communities and economies of the border area to jointly participate in the development of a cooperative area, using its human, natural, cultural and economic resources and advantages.
Since the 3rd Call for Proposals will be launched in the coming months, and considering the fact that one of the essential eligibility criteria is involving partners from both sides of the border, the Joint Technical Secretariat of the cross-border program Serbia – Montenegro, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro and the European Integration Office of the Republic of Serbia, has the pleasure to invite you to take part in the forum for establishing partnerships within the cross-border program Serbia – Montenegro.
PSF will be held in Rožaje, Montenegro, in the “Aldi” Hotel, on June 26, 2013, starting at 11:00 am. In order to complete registration procedure for expected large number of participants, interested should be at the venue at least half an hour before the event starts.
In the first part of the PSF there will be a presentation of the Cross – border Programme Serbia – Montenegro and partnership principles.
Second part of the PSF is designed as discussion within thematic groups, divided into following way: :
- group A – Economic Development
- group B – Social development
- group C – Environmental Protection
We would recommend you to use your promotional material, such as leaflets, brochures, etc. that will be exhibited in order to present, in effective way, organization and project ideas, and to be efficient in exchange of experiences.
We kindly ask you to confirm participation of your organization/institution by sending us a completed Registration Form by e-mail, to the address jts@cbcsrb-mne.org no later than Friday, June 24, 2013. Due to organization reasons, please delegate maximum two representatives on behalf of your organization/institution.
