After the Info workshops held in Bajina Basta and Cacak in May, 14-17 2013, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro and European Integration Office of the Government of the Republic Serbia and with technical support provided by Joint Technical Secretariat of the Cross-border Programme Serbia – Montenegro (JTS) organized two-day; Info Workshops;Preparation of project proposals for the Cross-border Programme Serbia –Montenegro in Montenegro, on May, 28-29 in Danilovgrad and May, 30-31 in Mojkovac. There have been two Calls for Proposals – one in2009. And one in 2011, and under this Calls there have been contracted 28 projects with a total value of around 5.4 million. The projects have to be carried out jointly by the non-profit legal entities registered in Montenegro and Serbia, and they are covered activities related to economic development, environmental protection, education, culture, sports, support for civil society, vulnerable population etc. In the following period it is planned announcement of the third Call for Proposals, where it will be available about 2.2 million for organization from Serbia and Montenegro ; for joint activities that will be implemented in the program area that covers almost the whole territory of Montenegro, except in coastal area, as well as Zlatiborski, Raski and Moravicki district in Serbia.

During the workshops which were attended by 110 participants from Serbia and 103 participants from Montenegro following was presented: Cross-border Programme Serbia – Montenegro, logical framework matrix in the context of cross-border cooperation and its relation to the application form, public procurement procedures, financial management, calculation of the eligible costs in the standard budget form, as well as project monitoring and reporting system. We would like to thank to all participants of workshops for a great interest and support and wish great success in preparing project proposals for the upcoming third Call for proposals.
