On December 24, 2024, the official opening of Via Ferrata Đurđevica in Tutin and the final conference of the project “Via Ferrata CLimb to Unveil Beauty of Piva and Ibar – Via Ferrata CLUB” took place. This event brought together project participants and partners, representatives of institutions, the local community, and media, with the aim of presenting the achieved results and promoting the significance of this project for the development of tourism in the region.
The event was opened by introductory speeches from Selma Kučević, President of the Municipality of Tutin, Slobodan Delić, President of the Municipality of Plužine, and Dragiša Mijačić, Director of InTER.
The presidents of the municipalities emphasized the importance of cross-border cooperation, sustainable tourism development, and the significance of Via Ferrata as a unique tourist attraction for these two local communities. Dragiša Mijačić presented the key results of the project, with a particular focus on the construction of Via Ferrata Đurđevica and the training of young people from this municipality to lead tours on Via Ferrata. 
As part of the project, a joint promotional film about Via Ferrata Piva and Đurđevica was also shown, which impressively presents the natural beauty of these regions and the opportunities that Via Ferrata offers to lovers of adventure tourism.
A special moment of the event was the ceremonial awarding of diplomas to participants in the training for guides and rescuers on Via Ferrata. These trainings, conducted within the project, significantly contribute to the safety of visitors and the professionalization of services on Via Ferrata Đurđevica.
At the end of the event, a tripartite agreement was signed transferring ownership of Via Ferrata Đurđevica from InTER to the Municipality of Tutin, while management rights were granted to PSD Beleg from Tutin.
The project is jointly implemented by the Municipality of Plužine (Montenegro) and the Municipality of Tutin (Serbia), InTER (Serbia), and the Piva Nature Park. The project implementation began on November 1, 2023, and lasts until December 31, 2024.
