“After visiting the mayor, the Smart Center, visiting the MNRO Help Center and the Health Center, I can conclude that Novi Pazar is moving in the right direction. In terms of taking care of the most vulnerable people, I want to thank everyone who contributes to this plan because it is our joint duty. Besides the people who do their job in the best way within the framework of the projects, I also want to thank the many people in the EU who finance such projects,” said Bertoloni.
The EU financed several projects within the Health Center, which is why, according to Mayor Nihat Biševac, all citizens can be extremely satisfied.
“Today we are witnessing one of the projects implemented in the field of healthcare supported by the European Union. Five years ago, Novi Pazar received a new emergency service building from EU funds. This project, which was implemented as part of cross-border cooperation, is also of great importance, all with the aim of improving health services and improving the level of citizens’ awareness of the importance of health control,” said Mayor Nihat Biševac.
With the support of the European Union, the healthcare system in Novi Pazar has been improved both in terms of efficiency and technical equipment, confirms the director of the Health Center, Ervin Ćorović.
The last in the series is the cross-border cooperation project. Realized with Montenegro, and with emphasis on the fact that with the support of the EU, we acquired equipment that enabled us to carry out examinations aimed at early detection of breast cancer and cervical cancer, as well as preventive examinations. We visited many village clinics, vulnerable population groups and all those who did not actually have the opportunity to undergo preventive measures,” said the director of the Health Center, Ervin Ćorović.
