“Today is a historic day for Serbia,” Tadic said after the official submission of application for the candidacy of our country for EU membership.
Tadic said that during the ten years since the establishment of democracy, democratic forces, the main goal was to bring Serbia into the European Union. He stressed that Serbia is ready to meet that goal. Tadic also expressed his hope that Serbia will in the next “very few years” to fulfill all the tasks on the road to full membership in the Union.
