The Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro and the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro and European Integration Office of the Republic of Serbia, will launch the 3rd Call for Proposals (3rd CfP) within the Cross – border Programme Serbia – Montenegro (the Programme) on 19th June 2015. The 3rd CfP is financed by the European Union in the total amount of 2,160,000.00 EUR, which consist of funds allocated for this Programme for 2012 and 2013 year. Deadline for submission of a Concept Note is 18th August 2015.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro and European Integration Office of the Republic of Serbia, supported by the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme, on the occasion of launching the 3rd CfP, will organize Opening Ceremony – Partner Search Forum, in the premises of the Hotel „Franca“ in Pljevlja, Montenegro, on 22nd June 2015. The Programme is financed by the EU through Instrument for Pre – assesion Assistance (IPA). The purpose of the Programme is to support and improve socio – economic and cultural cooperation between two countries, as well as to provide assistance to the population on both sides of the border to address common challenges.

We are pleased to invite potential applicants to participate at this event.

In order to complete registration procedure for expected large number of participants, interested should be at the venue at least half an hour before the event starts.

In the first part of the event the Cross – border Programme Serbia – Montenegro and the 3rd Call for Proposals will be presented.

Second part of the event is designed as partner search forum, divided into following way:

           – group A – Measure I.1

           – group B – Measure I.2

Implementation of the cross-border cooperation projects creates the foundation for further cooperation and establishment of the cross-border cooperation partnership with the intention of improving standard of living in the Programme covered area. In addition, the institutions from Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia have gained significant experience in managing EU funds. Consequently, through implementation of CBC Projects,process of European integration and its importance reaches remote and less developed regions.

The cross-border areas included in the Programme are:

In Serbia, the territories of the municipalities of Užice, Bajina Bašta, Požega, Kosjerić, Čajetina, Arilje, Priboj, Nova Varoš, Prijepolje, Sjenica, Raška, Novi Pazar, Tutin, Kraljevo and Vrnjačka Banja are eligible areas, while the territories of the municipalities of Gornji Milanovac, Ivanjica and Lučani and the City of Čačak are adjacent areas.

In Montenegro the territories of the municipalities of Pljevlja, Bijelo Polje, Berane, Petnjica, Rožaje, Plav, Gusinje, Andrijevica, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Žabljak, Plužine, Šavnik and Nikšić are eligible areas, while the territories of the municipalities Danilovgrad and Cetinje and the City of Podgorica are adjacent areas.
