In order to improve the tourist offer in the cross-border area of Prijepolje and Bijelo Polje, within the PORALIST project, a publication called Meadows of Happiness was prepared. The publication was made on the basis of a field research conducted by representatives of the Institute for the Study of Medicinal Plants “Dr Josif Pancic” from Belgrade, which identified 17 sites – meadows of importance on both sides of the cross-border area. Meadows of happiness are in an interesting way connected with the goals of sustainable development from the United Nations Agenda 2030, and with interesting stories offer tourists information about locations in the Prijepolje and Bijelo Polje municipalities that should be visited during holidays in these areas.
Meadow of smiles, Meadow of the well-fed, Meadow of health, Meadow of memories, Meadow of serenity, Sunny meadow, Meadow of the worthy, Meadow of abundance, Vast meadow, Meadow of consent, Hajduk meadow, Meadow of peace are just some of the project-defined tourist attractions.
The PORALIST project was implemented on the territory of the municipalities of Prijepolje and Bijelo Polje by the Regional Development Agency Zlatibor, the Institute for the Study of Medicinal Plants “Dr Josif Pančić” and the NGO Multimedia Montenegro.
