On Friday, December 22, 2023, in the Municipality of Gusinje, the event “Handover of a container and a specialized vehicle to the company “Communal Services Ltd” was organized by the Municipality of Gusinje as part of the project “Clean Community for a sustainable environment and nature – CLEAN”.
With the aim of contributing to the protection of the environment in the local community, the municipality of Gusinje has additionally equipped the existing infrastructure by purchasing 10 containers for the disposal of bulky municipal waste. As part of the project, a vehicle worth 79,150 euros was purchased for waste transportation.
During the event, the project manager, Suad Đurković, officially handed over the communal equipment procured through the project to the acting executive director of the Utility company Gusinje, Edin Mulić, in order to increase technical capacities and significantly improve their work, thus contributing to the provision of more efficient public services. to the citizens. Mr. Mulić emphasized the importance of the project and the need to modernize the communal infrastructure, which is especially in need during the summer months when the number of visitors to this municipality increases by several tens of thousands.
