The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, on the occasion of the European Cooperation Day, organised the Cross-border and Transnational Cooperation Projects Fair on Friday, 19 September 2014 in Delta City, Podgorica.
For the third time the European Cooperation Day will be marked on 21 September, week before and week later, throughout the Europe in order to celebrate achievements of more than 20 years of territorial cooperation in Europe and the region, as well the results of cross-border regions cooperation.
Various events will be organized in more than thirty European states; such as film festivals, cross-border excursions, bike races and project fairs etc. Campaign is coordinated by INTERACT and supported by the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Committee of the Regions.
The aim of the Project Fair is to present results of the projects implemented in Montenegro within the Cross-border, Neighbourhood and Transnational cooperation programs. These projects will be presented by the participants at the Fair coming from state institutions, local self-governments and non-government organisations, as well as the representatives of the European States Embassies in Montenegro.
Project Fair is open from 10.00 to 17.00 hours. Address by Ambassador Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, the State Secretary for European Integration and Mr. Andre Lys, the Head of Cooperation Section of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro is scheduled at 13.30 hours.
