A kick-off event for the “Regional Academy for Increasing the Employability of NEET Youth” project took place on October 14 at the Regional Business Center in Berane, organized by Forum MNE.
The event attracted approximately 40 participants, including representatives from the Employment Service, non-governmental organizations, former participants of the one-stop-shop training program, and other young people interested in the project. This event marked the beginning of the Regional Academy’s activities, featuring announcements of upcoming one-stop-shop educational training sessions and a presentation of the study, “Youth Employability/NEET Youth in the Cross-Border Region of Sandžak.”
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed at the event, formalizing collaborative efforts to boost youth employability in the cross-border regions of Montenegro and Serbia. The memorandum’s signatories include Forum MNE, the Center for Youth Work, the Rožaje Youth Civic Initiative, the Novi Pazar Youth Office, Berane Vocational High School, and the Berane Regional Business Center.
At the conclusion of the event, Forum MNE donated equipment to improve educational resources at Berane Vocational High School, consisting of a laser printer and a 65-inch interactive display, valued at €2,000.
