On July 26, 2024, the final conference of the project “BEYOND – Business enabling environment for youth employment ” was held in Priboj, which lasted for the past 14 months, and aimed to improve innovation and technological progress in cross-border community.
During the conference, participants had the opportunity to hear inspiring speeches from representatives of partner organizations, attend panel discussions, and connect with colleagues and partners.
The BEYOND project has brought significant results, including contributing to the development of new technologies, improving cooperation between research teams and companies, as well as supporting young innovators.
Through the project, two robotic hands were acquired and will be available to professors and students of secondary vocational schools from Nikšić and Priboj who, thanks to them, will for the first time have the opportunity to practically apply the learned concepts about robotics.
As part of the project, a cross-border online mentoring platform (https://startupuspeh.com) was created, as a tool for connecting cross-border mentors and individuals, startups and MSMEs from the program area. This network will support more entrepreneurs in the region and improve existing centers with new services.
The project was successfully implemented by the Regional Development Agency Zlatibor, the Innovation and Innovation and entrepreneurship center Tehnopolis and the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro within the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Serbia-Montenegro 2014-2020.
