The Joint Technical Secretariat for Cross-border Programme Serbia – Montenegro (JTS) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro, and European Integration Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia organized information sessions on Monday 6th July 2015 in the City Cinema Hall in Vrnjačka Banja municipality, and on Wednesday 8th July 2015 in the Hall of City Library “Ljubiša R Djenić” in Čajetina municipality. The main goal of the mentioned events was to provide detailed information to potential applicants concerning the rules of the Third Call for Proposals and detailed information on the Application Package.
More than 100 attendees, representatives of municipal authorities, local institutions, and organizations related to regional development, cultural and educational institutions, NGO’s and tourism oriented organizations from the Programme eligible area took participation in the Information Sessions.
On behalf of the Vrnjčka Banja Local Self Govenment Mr. Dušan Stevanović greeted attendants. On behalf of the European Integration Office of the Governement of the Republic of Serbia an introduction speech gave Assistant of Director Ms. Sanda Šimić. On this ocation she emphesizes a fact that this CBC Programme showed sagnificant results operated by small value. She expressed the hope that project proposals which will submited on this Call for proposals will be on the same quolitz level as proposals from previous Call.
In the Municipality of Čajetina, on behlaf of the host, all attendants were welcomed by Ms. Bojana Božanić, Mayors` Assistant for Investments. Ms. Natalija Matunović-Milošević, Head of Group for Cross-border Programmes with Non-EU Member Countries of the European Integration Office of the Governement of the Republic of Serbia, in her introduction speech encuraged all potential applicants to participate this Call for Proposals by their project proposals and on thet way show that this region has sagnificant capacity for apsorption of EU funds.
Mr. Goran Prebiračević, task Manager JTS/Antenna, spoke about basic rules and the characteristics of the call, cross cutting issues, allocations for third CfP, eligibility criteria of the applicant, partnerships and eligibility of partners, rules related to co-financing etc.
Mr. Mithat Bahović, task Manager JTS, representing eligibility of the costs, eligibility of the activities, and other participants in the project, explained steps in assessment grid, as well as details of the Application package.
Mr. Živko Kolašinac, task manager JTS, spoke about the details of the application form, and explained step by step all the relevant documents required for application.
The second part of the Information Session was reserved for questions and discussions about the issues identified by potential applicants. Representatives of the JTS answered on many questions and tried to clarify all the details, but official answers will be published on the Programme website, section FAQ, once they are confirmed by both Delegations of the European Union (in Serbia and Montenegro), no later than 11 days before closing of Call.
